Working in a Part Time Job
The fast food industry has a great scope for
people who are looking for a part-time job.
But if you’re
little fussy about the greasy work, you can try your luck in
the retail sector. This remains to be one
of the favourite sectors for part-timers. Department stores offer
part-time jobs ranging from posing in the designer clothes to
selling buttons in haberdashery.
Working in a fruit 'n' vegetable stall in a supermarket is
another preferred part-time job. Here you’ve flexible
hours of work with some employers paying for the amount of
time put in by you.
Though experience of being independent is always nice, but as
a student you also need to adjust time with your studies.
So before you take up any part-time job, you need to prioritise
things in your life first.
But even
then you feel like taking up a part-time job and really don’t know how to go about then the best way would be to
register with employment agencies and websites and even apply
through newspapers. Make sure your CV contains all the required
information. Once you’re called for the interview, check
out the background of the company and be ready to answer questions
like why do you want to work with us and so on.
