What jobs can you expect as a Graduate?
The job expectations vary according to the preferences
of the candidate. The fulfilment of the expectations depends
upon the type of industry selected by you, your goals and ambitions
and the changes taking place within the organisations. Almost
all graduates have the position, salary, continual skill development,
level of responsibility, qualifications to be gained, the reputation
of the company and opportunities to progress in their list of
priorities.
Graduates are always in search of jobs that have a good working
conditions and benefits like pension
scheme, private healthcare,
relocation expenses, personal
loans and even mortgage support
or a cash bonus.
While big organisations absorbing graduates
arrange for graduate development programmes after every two to
five years. In fact, the trend of late one gets to see is that
companies have become more lenient and efficient in providing
satisfying jobs for many employees.
In the last couple of years, the number of graduates has increased
while there is a sharp decline in traditional graduate jobs.
The dearth in traditional job has lead many graduates to opt
for non-graduate jobs. As a graduate, you need to prepare yourself
and forget about being promoted quickly. The reduced management
hierarchies have lessened the opportunities for vertical promotion.

Most of the recruiters start recruiting graduates
a year in advance. The dates of receiving applications close
